Senior Design Systems Designer (100% remote-friendly within Poland)

Relevant proven experience in building and maintaining design systems at scale. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and impact-driven, with a strong understanding of systematic thinking. Expertise with Figma and its design system features (e.g., Components, Styles, Libraries, Variants). Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and how to implement them within a design system. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Experience working closely with engineering teams to ensure the feasibility and proper implementation of design system components. Deep understanding of component-based design principles. Ability to give and receive feedback effectively. Adaptability to work in a rapidly changing, high-growth startup environment. Understanding of HTML and CSS. A portfolio featuring examples of your design system work. 8-10 years of product experience, including at least 3 years specializing in design systems. Fluency in English.

Collaborate with product designers, engineers, and product managers to understand product needs and translate them into scalable design system components and patterns. Continuously audit and evolve the design system based on user feedback, usability testing, technical constraints, and evolving product needs. Mentor and educate product designers and engineers on design system principles, best practices, and usage guidelines. Advocate for the design system across the organization. Lead the creation and maintenance of comprehensive design system documentation. Stay abreast of emerging design system trends, tools, and best practices. Act as a key contributor within the design community. Participate in user testing and usability studies. Drive the evolution of the company's design culture by fostering collaboration between product teams.
