FinTech QA Engineer

5-7+ years of experience in QA roles, ideally within a FinTech or financial services environment. Demonstrated experience with Selenium-based automation. Hands-on experience with Jira for defect tracking. Exposure to data analytics and reporting (Power BI preferred). Understanding of agile methodologies.

Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developers to understand requirements. Develop test plans covering functional, regression, and integration. Build and maintain Selenium-based test suites. Provide continuous feedback on code changes. Conduct manual testing for new or complex features. Perform exploratory testing to identify hidden defects. Use tools like Postman to test RESTful APIs. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across multiple integrated systems. Validate data workflows and dashboards in reporting tools. Ensure timely updates and correct visualization of financial metrics. Log and manage defects in Jira. Work closely with developers to resolve bugs efficiently. Provide QA coverage reports, defect analytics, and status updates. Contribute to ongoing improvements by analyzing test metrics. Stay current with QA tools, testing methodologies, and industry best practices. Participate in retrospectives, offering process improvements and mentoring junior QA members.
