Requirements:
  • Prior experience working in a sales, customer service, or admissions role, demonstrating the ability to build relationships and meet goals.
  • Experience with using CRM and sales engagement platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information and address concerns from prospective families.
  • Proficiency in delivering engaging presentations and the ability to adapt the content based on the audience's needs and interests.
  • The ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Host phone calls and Zoom Parent Meetings with prospective families to discuss their children's educational needs and introduce them to Primer.
  • Provide clear and accurate responses to any questions asked, which requires a deep understanding of Primer’s academic program and philosophy.
  • Maintain consistent communication through follow-ups with families.
  • Utilize sales systems such as Salesforce and Groove to ensure timely follow-up for every family.
  • Exercise efficient time management to ensure families across all funnel stages are being communicated with.
  • Be maniacal about nailing every touch point you have with families. You will define the family’s first impression of Primer. Every text, phone call, and email matters.

  • Provide development and implementation of programs and procedures for marketing, community outreach, student recruitment and student advising.
  • Serve as a primary link between the prospective student and the College in all matters related to the enrollment process.
  • Provide enrollment support to Black and African American students and families.
  • Inform prospective students, parents, and high school counseling staff of the admission requirements, procedures, and educational opportunities available at Normandale Community College.
  • Provide presentations about the college and represent the college at high school visits, educational fairs, and college/career events.
  • Develop relationships with high school guidance counselors, other civic and community leaders and maintains follow-up contact with prospective students and their parents.
  • Arrange campus visits, tours, and other outreach events in support of the college enrollment plan.
  • Conduct, prepares, and presents position related research.
  • Actively advance the college’s strategic goals, including to achieve equity in educational outcomes and to support a culturally responsive and service-oriented culture, through individual and departmental efforts.
