Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Pre-Sales role within enterprise SaaS, networking, or open-source software.
  • Working knowledge of networking concepts, network automation, and infrastructure technologies. Familiarity with NetBox or similar tools is a big plus.
  • Proven ability to engage both technical users and executive stakeholders in a consultative sales process.
  • Hands-on experience with APIs, scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.), and network automation workflows is a strong advantage.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills – you can translate complex technical concepts into compelling business value.
  • Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles, including proof-of-concepts, RFP responses, and objection handling.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Engage with technical and executive stakeholders to understand their pain points, workflows, and business objectives.
  • Lead technical discovery calls and product demonstrations to showcase the capabilities of NetBox Cloud in real-world environments.
  • Own the technical sales process, including running and supporting prospect proof-of-concept (POC) engagements, responding to technical objections, and ensuring smooth handoffs to post-sales teams.
  • Dig into customers use cases and apply NetBox capabilities to architect custom solutions
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Marketing to refine messaging, identify customer needs, and influence the product roadmap based on market feedback.
  • Develop and present compelling business cases that articulate the ROI of NetBox Cloud and Enterprise offerings to senior level decision-makers.
  • Support pipeline generation efforts by identifying high-quality prospects and guiding the Sales team on technical outreach strategies.
  • Contribute to content creation, such as technical blogs, webinars, and whitepapers, to drive thought leadership in the network automation space.
