Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • A Master's degree is preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or similar role in an IT environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • PMP, PgMP, or similar certification is a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Works with Sr. leadership to create long-term strategic roadmaps for IT initiatives that align with business goals.
  • Establishes clear objectives, deliverables, and success criteria for various IT programs and projects.
  • Determines the IT resources (human, financial, technical) needed for program success.
  • Keeps track of progress towards IT strategic goals and timelines, ensuring projects stay on schedule.
  • Addresses any roadblocks or issues that arise during program execution, whether they are technical, resource-related, or operational.
  • Identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks to ensure that the program progresses smoothly.
  • Regularly updates senior management and other stakeholders on program status, risks, and issues.
  • Collaborates cross-departmentally with other teams to ensure program alignment while addressing challenges.
  • Acts as a liaison between business and IT teams, managing expectations and ensuring program outcomes align with business needs.
  • Oversee the IT financial health by managing budgets and ensuring projects stay within financial constraints.
  • Actively manages the department budget ensuring financial efficiency and accountability.
  • Identifies opportunities for cost savings or better resource allocation within the program.
  • Manages IT relationships, negotiates contracts, and ensures that external partners meet expectations.
  • Leads and mentors cross-functional teams working on various projects within IT
  • Provides feedback and conducts performance evaluations for team members.
  • Promotes collaboration and knowledge sharing among teams to improve IT program delivery.
  • Ensures that the team and IT programs comply with organizational policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
  • Analyzes team and program performance post-completion and identifies areas for improvement
