Requirements:

6+ years of experience in Security Engineering or similar
Experience being a Team Lead across the organization
Prior experience with Security for Cloud Infrastructure/Kubernetes
Demonstrated effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, actively fostering a culture of security awareness, and supporting the development of security solutions that impact larger projects.
Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Possesses expert-level knowledge in their specialty field and the security technology stack.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar (preferred)

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective security strategies and processes to protect the company from security risks.
Be a key input into quarterly planning and drive prioritization for security work.
Lead execution of security projects, breaking down work, and effectively delegating tasks
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of security requirements into business processes and projects.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits, including leading the Type II SOC 2 audits annually.
Assess potential risks and vulnerabilities, investigate security incidents, and reinforce appropriate measures to mitigate them.
Conduct security architecture reviews and makes recommendations
Evangelize and foster a culture of security awareness across the company
