Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s in computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Active Security+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate preferred
  • 3+ years of experience with OpenText software, especially ContentServer
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2012 or 2016 & Microsoft Active Directory
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft IIS and or Apache Tomcat.
  • 5+ years of experience of working with Microsoft SQL Server and or Oracle.
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS cloud technologies
  • 2+ years of experience with custom scripts (PowerShell, batch, RegExp)
  • Experience with deploying and configuring ECM/BPM COTS products
  • Working off hours (weekends) as required to support sustainment activities.
Responsibilities:
  • System Lifecycle Management support to engage/coordinate with internal client and external stakeholders to assess needs. Derive requirements to assist PMO develop yearly spend plans and 5-year technical refresh plan.
  • Deployment Coordinator-engage/coordinate with stakeholders to add remove HW as required to maintain system baseline.
  • Provides advisory and consulting services to coordinate deployment and operations activities for a DoD information system.
  • Plans and executes systems engineering and project management activities for information system at several locations.
  • Plans and manages operations to deploy key system upgrade and support for other critical break/fix maintenance at system locations.
  • Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders for program equities spanning all stages of the system development life cycle.
  • Works with technical staff to coordinate system component deployments to meet system life cycle requirements.
  • Performs engineering management tasks as required to interact with system owner, technical development staff and commercial vendor product engineers to complete system life cycle requirements.
  • Maintains and creates ad hoc system architecture documents, procurement documents, and configuration management artifacts to assist program's system development life cycle planning.
  • Assists system owner to coordinate with stakeholders to define system architecture, create technical refresh plans, mitigate technical and resource risk, ensure compliance with continuous monitoring/security requirements, and coordinate system upgrade activities.
  • Conducts technical engagement and exchange with several commercial vendors that provide technical capabilities to the system.
  • Facilitates technical exchanges to identify solutions for specified and implied system requirements.
  • Routinely provides subject matter expertise to system owners for life cycle equities.
