Requirements:
- Training in Electromechanics and/or Automation
- 5 years minimum experience in maintenance / installations, specifically in the commissioning phase (in new construction or on client sites).
- Appetite for automation (Siemens or equivalent)
- Electrical qualification (ideally)
- Technical curiosity, to intervene on sites involving mechanics as well as industrial IT, but also process engineering
- Acceptance of travel all over the world (travel rate close to 100% - no relocation required)
- Good basic English (oral/written)
Responsibilities:
- Intervene at the end of construction sites, following assembly and automation/industrial IT teams
- Finalize adjustments and ensure the start-up of equipment
- Ensure the configuration, modifications of automation programs to prepare client recipes.
- Ensure contact with our site managers or automation engineers for I/O – intervene yourself occasionally on diagnostics, wiring...
- Alert our project managers to signal remaining work and ensure the proper finalization of the site
- Train the client's teams, being the ambassador of our brand
- Be the guarantor of customer satisfaction: have the customer sign the acceptance report.
- Provide feedback to optimize our equipment and consolidate our know-how.
