Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and at least three (3) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service orientation. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other standard office tools. Experience with content creation and design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.). Proven ability to write compelling advertising copy and persuasive content across multiple platforms. Strong multitasking skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Comfortable working under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output. Excellent time-management and organizational abilities. Collaborative team player with a positive, solutions-focused attitude. Eagerness to continuously learn and grow professionally. Medical writing experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Develop original, engaging content tailored to target audience. Write clear, compelling copy for various platforms. Conduct high-quality research for content accuracy. Update and refine existing content. Create and edit content for letters, articles, brochures, websites, blogs, email campaigns, video/audio scripts, social media, and advertisements. Write newsletters, blog promotions, exhibitor opportunities, and calls for abstracts/speakers. Write video descriptions and occasional video scripts. Write two blogs per week and build content pipeline during slower periods. Write and edit social media copy. Finalize and upload copy for approval. Collaborate with team members on task execution. Partner with marketing, programming, sales, and speakers. Publish blogs on content management systems. Create memes for newsletters. Collaborate on graphics with the marketing team. Brainstorm ideas to drive attendee engagement, sponsorships, and sales. Contribute to marketing initiatives. Create partnership deliverables. Record and edit video testimonials and promotional videos. Assist with ad copy writing and editing needs. Develop surveys or interview questions. Write press releases as needed. Monitor platforms for errors and suggest changes. Uphold copy guidelines and event branding standards. Develop event messaging guides. Generate marketable ideas with sales. Provide sales support. Coordinate with speakers on collaboration opportunities and manage correspondence.
