Principal Engineer - Canada Wide - Remote

Mastery with Python or TypeScript, comfortable picking up any language. Proven expertise in designing and building large-scale, high-performance systems. Deep knowledge of distributed systems and cryptographic principles. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Proven ability to balance short-term needs with long-term goals. Deep understanding and experience with blockchain technology and distributed systems. A passion for technology and a track record of driving innovation.

Work directly with the CTO and be a key-decision maker and contributor to our technical vision and strategy. Lead the architecture and design of the most critical systems and features. Provide technical expertise and guidance to the entire organization. Identify and solve for critical system failures and deficiencies. Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to align technical initiatives with business goals. Drive innovation by researching and implementing new technologies and approaches.
