Platform Administrator (Linux)

Strong Linux OS experience, including shell scripting, string manipulation, and reporting tools. Familiarity with packaging, and unpackaging software. Familiarity with SSL, Java Keystores (BCKS) to create secure HTTPS communications. Experience of configuring LDAP/SSO brokers, e.g. Keycloak. Background within a Cloud environment - provision compute - strong knowledge of AWS or Azure.

Maintain the ServiceNow Self-Hosted Platform which includes monitoring and capacity management. Ensure snapshots, backups, and clonebacks are completed as appropriate. Schedule and communicate upgrades of the platform as required. Design and schedule application uptime to meet cost optimisation goals.
