Platform Lead

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience designing, developing and operating cloud software at scale.
• 5+ years in a DevOps or SRE role, preferably on AWS.
• Experience with technical leadership and people management.
• Deep understanding of cloud design patterns, operations, security, and cost models.
• Ability to manage risk, ambiguity, dependencies and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience working with distributed teams in global engineering organizations.
• Familiarity with C#, TypeScript, React, Kafka, Terraform on AWS is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage and support EP’s DevOps/SRE group.
• Create a safe and inclusive environment for the team.
• Collaborate to define architecture and technical strategy.
• Own end-to-end platform availability, reliability, security, and performance.
• Develop automation and observability processes.
• Maintain and enhance build and deployment processes.
• Ensure cost-effective use of third-party providers.
• Design and own security controls for compliance.
• Educate and empower software engineers regarding operational thinking.
