- Provide direct leadership and day-to-day management of Insurance Collections team members
- Establish and manage performance expectations, accountability, and professional development
- Identify staffing needs, participate in hiring, and lead onboarding and training
- Drive cost-of-service improvements through workflow and operational efficiency initiatives
- Serve as an escalation point for complex or high-dollar payer issues
- Monitor AR aging, denial inventory, and underpayments to ensure compliance
- Analyze payer-specific trends and denial patterns to implement improvements
- Partner with front-end, billing, and clinical documentation teams to prevent recurring denials
