How We Work

We trust you to choose when you work best. We avoid rigid 9 to 5 schedules. Our shared core hours are 12:00 to 16:00 to support collaboration. You can work from anywhere in Germany in our hybrid model. Individual contributors spend at least four days a month on-site in Berlin. This fosters in-person collaboration, essential to our culture. You can also work remotely from anywhere in the EU for up to 10 consecutive days at a time. This Workation benefit allows up to 60 days per year in total. Engineering at lemon.markets

As a Backend Engineer, you will design backend services and architecture for our brokerage API platform. You will take end-to-end ownership of features and services within cross-functional teams. You will ensure smooth production operations. Your work will focus on Customer Lifecycle, Investing, or Banking processes. You will ensure our Core Platform & Systems are reliable and scalable. Our primary tech stack includes Python, FastAPI, AWS, and PostgreSQL. We welcome engineers from different modern tech stacks. You should be excited to work in Python and learn it if new to you. You will significantly impact architectural decisions and the business itself. Join a cross-functional team of experts.
