- Track SEC, CFTC, Treasury, and FinCEN rulemakings, guidance, staff statements, and enforcement relevant to onchain lending, and maintain a calendar of comment deadlines with recommended postures.
- Lead comment letters, responses to requests for comment, and other written submissions, gathering input from Protocol, Product, Research, and outside counsel for General Counsel sign-off.
- Prepare and lead meetings with agency staff and commissioner offices, including briefing materials, talking points, and follow-up submissions.
- Represent Morpho in trade association working groups and industry coalitions, and coordinate input into joint filings.
- Engage congressional offices and committee staff on legislation and implementation affecting DeFi lending.
- Manage outside policy counsel and consultants, including scope, deliverables, and spend.
- Brief leadership and product teams on US policy developments and flag implications for the protocol, products, and external messaging.
