OAK'S LAB empowers innovators to improve life and the world. We partner with startups to build products and scale their teams. Since 2016, we have helped 34 startups reach a combined valuation of over $1.5 billion. Our two divisions, OAK'S DIGITAL and OAK'S BOOST, address different stages of startup growth. OAK'S DIGITAL builds technology for early-stage companies with dedicated product teams. OAK'S BOOST helps growth-stage startups establish and expand in-house tech teams in offshore locations. We operate from Prague with Silicon Valley founders, building over 65 software products for US-based clients.

How We Work

You will join small, autonomous teams, typically 5 to 15 people. Each team member focuses exclusively on a single product. This fosters a high-impact role for you. We embrace remote work across Europe, with hybrid options available in the Czech Republic. We don't do staff augmentation; we partner with clients. This means a long-term commitment to projects and full ownership for our teams. You'll find a dynamic environment with motivated people striving for ambitious goals. We prioritize your growth with personalized plans and learning resources. You can engage in one-on-one sessions with senior leaders. Our AI Guild provides a community for engineers to share insights and experiment with cutting-edge AI tools.

Engineering at OAK'S LAB

We take an AI-first approach, integrating AI into almost every project. You will streamline design and testing workflows and enhance developer productivity. Our teams experiment with remote AI agents to push development boundaries. Our robust tech stack includes Node.js and React for web and mobile applications. We use GraphQL and tRPC for efficient data handling. PostgreSQL and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) power our backend infrastructure. You'll work with modern tools like Playwright for testing. Our AI toolkit includes HuggingFace API, LLM APIs (like OpenAI), Langchain, and Vector Databases for RAG. We value strong analytical skills and a desire to continuously learn new technologies. You will contribute to solutions for complex technical challenges. We expect you to write clean, scalable code and engage in thorough code reviews.
