Senior Product Engineer (Frontend)

Design and build the embedded experiences partners integrate: enrolment, plan selection, quotes, dependants and renewals, plus the component and SDK layer behind them
Work across the full stack, from React and TypeScript through to backend services and APIs
Join client and partner calls where it helps and work directly with customers and partner engineering teams
Proactively shape the roadmap and contribute ideas
Own technical architecture, including support for different partners and use cases
Build and maintain integrations, including partner APIs, webhooks, and theming
Collaborate closely with Product, Design and forward deployed engineers
Use AI actively for building, reviewing, and speeding up development
Improve the stability and observability of ownership, including visibility into integrations

Engineering at Kota

You will build the infrastructure making financial benefits as accessible as modern software. Our engineers tackle complex, multi-provider, multi-market pension systems using a modern stack. We rely on React Native for mobile experiences and React/Remix.js for responsive frontends. Our backend systems are powered by .NET 8, PostgreSQL, and Azure or AWS. You will thrive on designing robust systems, owning technical architecture, and creating developer-first APIs, all while embracing an AI-forward mindset to continuously innovate.
