About Pasa Sustainable Agriculture
Pasa Sustainable Agriculture cultivates environmentally sound, economically viable, and community-focused farms and food systems. You will join a mission-driven nonprofit that empowers farmers through education, research, and technical assistance. Since 1992, Pasa has grown to serve farmers across 15 states, from Maine to South Carolina. In 2022, Pasa facilitated over $22 million in relief payments to 38,000 farm and food workers. They also secured a $55 million grant to help 2,000 farmers implement climate-smart practices.
How We Work
You will thrive in a primarily remote environment that values both independence and collaboration. This team works across various states, staying connected through open communication. While your daily work is remote, expect 2-3 annual in-person staff retreats to foster strong team bonds. All employees attend the annual Sustainable Agriculture Conference in February, a key event for learning and connection. Pasa is committed to anti-oppression principles, actively encouraging applications from diverse backgrounds.
