Grants & Compliance Manager

Serve as an administrative contact with NSF grants and program officers, alongside the PI and co-PI.
Track grant implementation, reporting, and financial requirements and ensure they are fulfilled.
Manage award budgets, forecast spending, flag variances, and support drawdowns through NSF's payment system.
Prepare federal financial reports, prior approval requests, budget revisions, and no-cost extension requests.
Track grant costs and ensure charges are allowable under 2 CFR and award terms.
Support annual and final project reports in Research.gov, maintain registrations and certifications, and lead award closeout.
Maintain grant policies, calendars, databases, and documentation for audits and compliance.
Partner with Finance to ensure restricted funds are coded and tracked correctly.
Support preparation and submission of grant proposals and review them against funder requirements.
Report on active awards and compliance risks, and simplify grant processes, including through automation.

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to identifying and nurturing the mathematical talent of second and third graders, providing them with a decade of comprehensive support. Our programs offer mentorship, advanced courses, summer STEM experiences, and financial assistance. We invest over $100,000 in resources and support for each "Star" to ensure they can pursue their passions and make incredible contributions. Since our founding in 2023, we've grown from a pilot program to serving hundreds of students across multiple states. We've shipped over 10,000 awards to students in Texas and the Midwest, partnering with over 2,000 elementary schools. Our mission is to ensure no talent is lost due to lack of resources or guidance.
