  • Experience in the maintenance and repair of buses or heavy goods vehicles, including body, electrical, and mechanical or a complete PSV or HGV apprenticeship.
  • Electrical diagnostic skills, ideally using Multiplex systems.
  • Diagnosing and repairing engines and transmission issues.
  • Time served PCV/LGV Technician with a recognised qualification such as City and Guilds, BTEC or similar, or equivalent experience.
  • Computer literate and able to use Microsoft packages.
  • A Full UK Driving License
  • Ensure maximum vehicle availability for our customers throughout the Birmingham area.
  • Diagnose problems, completing repairs in a health and safety conscious manner.
  • Perform reactive and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Complete paperwork (such as service worksheets, timesheets and warranty claims).
  • Make sure that the van is fully equipped with tools and parts on a daily basis.

  • Complete paperwork (such as service worksheets, timesheets and warranty claims), ensuring that jobs can be closed and invoiced in a timely manner. This includes uploading information to systems and occasionally writing technical reports.
  • Ensure that the van is fully equipped with tools and parts on daily basis.
