- 4+ years of experience as a developer
- 2+ years of experience creating, maintaining and improving WordPress and/or WooCommerce Plugins and Themes
- Must have backend development experience
- Must have experience with WooCommerce
- Solid knowledge of PHP, HTML/CSS, MySQL, JavaScript, webpack, and Git
- Experience working with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of web development technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with software testing, debugging and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Must be US based.
- Must be able to develop fully remote in the Cloud.
- Experience with GitHub, GitHub Codespaces and Docker.
- Collaborate with other members of the development team to plan and implement features and functionality
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Test and debug software to ensure it is free of errors and performs as expected
- Deliver accurate estimates for work.
- Debug issues in high-risk situations.
- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in software development
- Assist with the maintenance and support of existing software products
- Maintain communication with developers, project managers, and clients
- Meet with clients during the discovery phase of project cycle
- Ensure proper documentation through GitHub and Jira
- Escalate issues to Development Lead, Project Manager, or clients.
