- 5+ years of experience in a sales engineering role for a large and highly configurable SaaS platform.
- 3+ in a customer facing role, preferably on a sales, customer success, or support team.
- Significant experience in the configuration and administration of large SaaS platforms.
- Working knowledge and Understanding of IT infrastructure, product management, agile methodology, change management, and software development concepts.
- Excellent presentation, public speaking, and product demonstration skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various professionals and disciplines such as the sales team, customer operations teams, software development teams, and DevOps teams.
- Intellectual curiosity, humility, analytical abilities, personal accountability, and a positive approach to problem-solving.
- Mastery of operational technologies used at Kaseware, including Salesforce, Jira, Monday.com, and Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of industry technologies such as operating systems, storage devices, switching methodologies, cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, virtualization, containerization technologies (such as Docker and Kubernetes), and command line shell (Mac terminal, linux, bash, powershell, etc.)
- Knowledge and curiosity of security, IPsec, InfoSec, hacking, and exploitation tools and methodologies.
- The ability to work independently with substantial latitude for action and decision making while maintaining focus on achieving optimal outcomes as part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary effort.
- Bachelor's Degree. A degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) would be preferred but not required.
- Serve as the Growth Teamโs technical expert on the Kaseware platform and component technologies, achieving comprehensive mastery of all Kaseware technologies.
- Develop, implement, and follow processes for pre-sale analysis of customer use cases and requirements.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to understand customer requirements and deliver tailored technical presentations and demonstrations of Kaseware solutions to both new, and existing customers.
- Provide 1st-level technical support during the pre-sales cycle for new opportunities and upsells, conducting technical conversations with various technical stakeholders to include end users, system administrators, IT staff, resellers, and system integrators.
- Develop and enhance technical documentation and collateral to support the Growth Team's understanding and usage of Kaseware products and services.
- Contribute to professional responses to customer RFPs/RFIs and technical requests.
- Capture feature requests and provide feedback to Product Management, Sales, Development, Customer Operations, Support, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
- Support the development of proof-of-concepts (POCs) and system trials as required for selective opportunities during the sales process.
- Document technical information and maintain accurate records in relevant systems such as CRM, project management, product management, and software development management solutions.
- Accommodate a global customer base with potential early morning or late evening/night meetings.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned to support the Growth Team and the Kaseware mission.
