- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; Big 4 or listed company experience is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Jedox, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamic 365) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills to liaise with the US team, auditors, and senior stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is required; Cantonese and Mandarin are a plus.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Adaptability to work night shifts aligned with US Eastern Standard Time.
- Immediate availability is a strong advantage.
- Manage the full set of accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP) and Group policies.
- Oversee reconciliation of intercompany accounts, addressing discrepancies promptly.
- Lead and coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes to meet reporting timelines.
- Collaborate with the US team and accounting team to ensure accurate data and efficient consolidation activities.
- Monitor compliance with evolving accounting regulations and internal policies.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial reporting and accounting processes.
- Engage with auditors and senior management, providing insights into financial performance.
- Contribute to strategic projects aimed at enhancing financial systems and processes.
