Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience building and maintaining software in production.
• Desire to work with technologies such as Node, TypeScript, React, AWS, and PostgreSQL.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with both engineers and non-engineers.
• Strong desire to learn, share knowledge, and think creatively.
• Experience mentoring other engineers and conducting thorough code reviews.
• Proactive and empathetic approach to problem-solving for customers.
• Experience in startups and/or fintech.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain user experiences for both external and internal customers.
• Work on business-critical foundational services serving as the data funnel of the platform.
• Improve complex processes and systems to reduce the need for human intervention.
• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to share knowledge.
• Develop ownership over domains and make informed engineering tradeoffs.
• Write clean, high-quality code and tests for system reliability.
• Lead and participate in design, coding, testing, and production release activities.
