Backend Kotlin Developer

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in backend Kotlin/Java software development.
• Familiarity with SQL databases such as Postgres (ideally) or MySQL.
• Good understanding of APIs: REST or gRPC (this one ideally since we moved all of our services to gRPC).
• Strong familiarity with Git version control (we use GitHub).
• Experience with cloud computing and deployment with CI/CD (we use GitHub Actions).
• Experience working with unit testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of agile development practices and methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software components of Kody's platform.
• Debug and troubleshoot system issues and provide support as necessary.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team's development process.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in software development processes.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the Kotlin/Java development space.
