Requirements:

• B.S. in Computer Science or similar required.
• Lead / staff software engineer experience.
• 4+ years of experience in full-stack development, emphasizing back-end.
• Proficiency in Java, Javascript, and web technologies (HTML/CSS).
• Experience with SQL and relational databases like Postgres, MySQL.
• Solid programming skills and a deep understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with Java frameworks like Spring and SpringBoot preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud-based software development, especially AWS preferred.
• Ability to apply software engineering best practices.
• Strong communication skills for design discussions.

Responsibilities:

• Get the company's product to market while navigating ambiguity.
• Become an expert in Neem's software and infrastructure, and the dental industry.
• Implement and roll out new features to production.
• Make key architectural decisions for the engineering organization.
• Set up development best practices and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot performance and reliability issues.
• Ensure product scalability and availability.
• Take ownership of larger initiatives and identify growth opportunities.
• Mentor and inspire junior engineers.
• Write a lot of quality code.
