Requirements
- Have 4+ years of professional front-end or full-stack web development experience.
- Have deep experience with React and TypeScript.
- Have experience building and maintaining design systems, including component libraries such as shadcn/ui and Base UI and state management such as Redux.
- Have a strong command of HTML, CSS, accessibility, and responsive design.
- Have maintained production applications and written clear, maintainable, tested code.
- Demonstrate design and UX judgment through shipped work showing craft and engineering depth.
- Be comfortable moving between Figma or similar tools and code.
- Have shipped production work with AI coding tools and be able to review and own generated output.
- Have experience with Git, CI/CD, and regular deployments.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails or interfacing with Rails backends is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build customer-facing features in React and TypeScript from prototype to production.
- Own and evolve the design system and component library.
- Prototype interaction patterns in code, including AI-native chat, inline assistance, and agentic workflows.
- Work with Claude Code, LLMs, and agentic workflows to ship features.
- Improve front-end performance, accessibility, motion, and microcopy.
- Use user feedback to understand advisor needs and simplify the product.
- Drive projects from concept to production by identifying an approach, executing it, and shipping it.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product decisions and user experience.
