Requirements
- Demonstrate a track record of achievement and a strong drive to succeed.
- Bring a strong record of closing high-profile deals; talent acquisition experience is a significant plus.
- Have relevant experience in business development, relationship management, or related work.
- Have existing relationships with agents, managers, or publicists, or the ability to build them quickly.
- Bring deep knowledge of the technology landscape, including AI, semiconductors, venture capital, founders, and operators.
- Exercise discretion and sound judgment with sensitive, high-profile, and politically charged figures.
- Manage multiple pipelines with clean data and consistent follow-up.
- Communicate persuasively and professionally in writing and speech.
- Be willing to travel internationally.
Responsibilities
- Own a pipeline of high-profile talent from first outreach through confirmation, including negotiating terms and securing participation.
- Build relationships with A-list speakers, talent representatives, gatekeepers, and decision-makers.
- Oversee the team's talent pipeline, monitor progress, and report on performance, conversion rates, and forecasts.
- Research and prioritize talent opportunities using market intelligence, industry trends, and event objectives.
- Collaborate with leadership, internal teams, and external partners to align talent acquisition priorities.
- Coordinate logistics, preparation, and on-site delivery for confirmed talent.
