Requirements
- MSc or equivalent in a relevant field, such as life sciences, bioengineering, or medicine.
- Experience as a translational or computational biologist in biopharma or biotech, with project leadership experience.
- Experience in drug discovery or the pharmaceutical industry, or working knowledge of AI/ML methods in predictive modeling in a life science discipline.
- Proven experience independently leading complex projects, ideally with external partners.
- Excellent stakeholder management, including partner-facing and remote coordination.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and communicate under tight deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to simplify complex problems.
- High degree of autonomy and sound judgment.
- Fluent English.
- PhD in a related field is a plus.
- Experience deploying a software or data platform into a customer's workflows in a B2B setting is a plus.
- Technical specification writing, product roadmap contributions, enterprise alliance or account management, and familiarity with quality assurance and quality control processes are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Deploy vLab with pharma and biotech partners, from focused evaluations to longer-term, multi-program engagements.
- Translate partners' scientific questions into engagement plans covering Virtual Assays, data requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Lead cross-functional delivery teams and coordinate with modeling and platform development teams.
- Integrate Turbine's capabilities into partner workflows or develop new capabilities.
- Manage project scope, timelines, costs, risks, decisions, and actions.
- Report progress to partners and internal stakeholders, coordinating with legal and finance teams from contract to close.
- Support business development through scientific proposals, feasibility assessments, and project scoping.
- Bring partner needs to Product and help define vLab roadmap requirements and priorities.
- Align project goals with Turbine's strategic direction and company objectives.
