Requirements
- Have 2+ years of software development, consulting, or support experience; experience across distinct industries or verticals is preferred.
- Be familiar with enterprise-scale software architectures, application development methodologies, software deployment, and operations.
- Be competent in at least one of Java, C++, C#, Python, Node.js (JavaScript), Ruby, Perl, Scala, or Go.
- Have experience with databases such as MongoDB, Oracle, MS SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Be familiar with Linux diagnostics and tuning; Windows tuning knowledge is a plus.
- Have analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Be comfortable with a role combining technical work and customer management.
- Be confident speaking and presenting in customer settings.
- Be fluent in French and English.
- Be able to travel up to 20% in normal circumstances and when clients prefer to meet in person.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to customer implementations across application assessment, planning, design, deployment, development, integration, testing, production operations, optimization, and best-practice adoption.
- Deliver classroom-based training to architect, developer, and operations roles.
- Work with consulting engineers, project managers, and account teams as part of a wider delivery team.
- Build expertise in MongoDB and serve as a trusted advisor to MongoDB and its customers.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to influence the MongoDB product roadmap.
- Communicate technical proposals and the product roadmap to external clients.
- Support customer success with MongoDB implementations and endeavors.
- Maintain the required level of billable utilization.
