Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise applications, systems design, or SaaS platform delivery.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Advanced experience with Salesforce architecture across declarative, programmatic, integration, and security domains.
- Demonstrated experience architecting solutions spanning Salesforce and multiple integrated enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform limits, security model, data model design, automation tooling, and custom development patterns.
- Experience with enterprise integrations, including REST and event-driven patterns, middleware or orchestration concepts, and cross-system data synchronization.
- Experience leading design reviews, architecture governance discussions, and cross-functional solution workshops.
- Understanding of data governance, system-of-record design, observability, and operational support.
- Experience in Agile delivery environments collaborating with product, engineering, QA, DevOps, and business teams.
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD, source control, environment strategy, or release governance.
- Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect, Platform Developer, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and solution design for complex initiatives involving Salesforce and connected enterprise applications.
- Translate business requirements into end-to-end technical designs covering system interactions, data models, automation, APIs, event flows, security, and operations.
- Define scalable architecture patterns and maintain architecture standards, reference patterns, and design guardrails.
- Conduct architecture reviews for high-impact enhancements, integrations, and strategic programs.
- Evaluate solution impacts across Salesforce and connected marketing, finance, support, data, and integration systems.
- Define integration architectures and promote API, event-processing, monitoring, logging, retry, and error-management practices.
- Partner with developers, administrators, QA, DevOps, analysts, and program leaders to make designs actionable and align delivery teams.
- Mentor team members and support architectural decision records, technical documentation, reusable assets, and solution playbooks.
- Help evolve architectural governance and improve change safety, release confidence, and scalability.
