Requirements
- Have significant experience leading small to midsized businesses, ideally with annual revenues between $500K and $30M.
- Have at least eight years of hands-on business leadership.
- Have served as the actual operating CEO with full P&L responsibility.
- Have personally led a business through meaningful revenue growth, ideally from approximately $500K to $10M+.
- Have been responsible for overall financial and operational performance, not just a department or function.
- Be comfortable working directly with business owners, challenging assumptions, coaching through difficult decisions, and creating accountability.
- Be willing to help implement solutions, not only recommend them.
- Be prepared to identify the company led, its annual revenue when you took over and left, your P&L responsibilities, and the decisions you personally made to drive growth.
- Commit to the role full time.
Responsibilities
- Help owners identify opportunities to improve pricing, margins, cash flow, and financial performance.
- Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions.
- Challenge assumptions, establish priorities, and help owners follow through on their plans.
- Develop systems and processes to support sustainable growth.
- Work directly with small law firm owners, typically running businesses with $1M–$5M in annual revenue.
- Help owners improve profitability, operations, and growth through hands-on advice and execution.
