Build and document the in-house edit workflow, including templates, asset organization, revision loops, feedback systems, and project archiving.
Develop distinct edit signatures for each channel, including pacing, B-roll, music and sound effects, lower-thirds, and transitions.
Manage project files, asset libraries, and version control in Frame.io and Premiere.
Make creative decisions on cuts, pacing, and structure, and deliver drafts ready for evaluation.
Apply revision feedback and target no more than two revision rounds per video.
Review YouTube Studio retention curves for published videos and use the findings to adjust future edits.
Flag issues in raw footage before spending time editing around them.
