Requirements
- Bring extensive software engineering experience and strong Python skills.
- Have experience with FastAPI or similar, async, packaging, and testing.
- Have at least 1 year building LLM-powered applications or agents that reached real users in a pilot or production.
- Have experience with tool calling, prompt design, and handling model failures.
- Be familiar with at least one agent framework: Strands, LangGraph, Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK, CrewAI, or LlamaIndex.
- Have AWS experience with Lambda, ECS/Fargate, IAM, S3, DynamoDB, and Bedrock or SageMaker.
- Have RAG experience, including embeddings, vector stores, chunking, and retrieval tuning.
- Be comfortable with CI/CD, Docker containers, and infrastructure-as-code; Terraform is preferred.
- Have advanced English proficiency (C1 or above) and autonomy to communicate directly with international stakeholders.
- Have experience writing internal developer documentation and samples, such as notebooks and quick starts.
Responsibilities
- Build SDK features and framework adapters for Strands, Claude Agent SDK, and LangGraph, including memory, skills, prompt management integration, and evaluation hooks.
- Build and maintain agent and MCP server templates for AgentCore Runtime and ECS Fargate over HTTP and A2A.
- Integrate with the AWS Agent Registry, including registration, approval flow, and identity-scoped discovery.
- Build and support RAG and knowledge services, including Bedrock Knowledge Bases, OpenSearch vector, and ingestion pipelines.
- Write contract and integration tests.
- Keep the release parity gate green.
- Help use-case teams onboard and debug their agents, and feed lessons back into the platform.
- Take part in on-call or office hours, and in RCAs.
