Requirements
- Have built complex, high-load production systems.
- Have set technical direction followed by other engineers.
- Take a product-first approach and can explain the business impact of your work.
- Build with AI agents regularly and know how to verify, test, and take ownership of their output.
- Write clearly, including specifications and decision records.
- Work effectively with non-technical colleagues in sales, go-to-market, or operations.
- Take ownership, work with ambiguity, and be willing to experiment and advocate for ideas.
- Be open to learning new languages and tools; the current stack is mostly Go, AWS, and Terraform.
- Be comfortable with hands-on individual-contributor work alongside cross-team collaboration.
- Be available to work EMEA hours.
Responsibilities
- Own a customer-facing product end to end, including its functionality, operation, and business outcomes.
- Talk to customers and decide what to build based on their needs.
- Build and ship products using AI agents.
- Design systems that handle high loads and millions of requests.
- Build tests, evaluations, and guardrails to assess whether agent work can be trusted.
- Help turn effective agent workflows from individual teams into company-wide standards.
- Identify opportunities across the company and take on work where you can add value.
- Collaborate through knowledge-sharing sessions, kickoffs, and cross-team reviews.
