- 6 years of engineering experience, including at least 4 years supporting refining, chemical/petrochemical, power generation, or manufacturing facilities.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Have 6 years of engineering experience.
- Have at least 4 years supporting refining, chemical/petrochemical, power generation, or manufacturing facilities.
- Have experience with electrical modeling and simulation tools such as ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Experience leading quality reviews and mentoring junior engineering staff is preferred.
- Consulting engineering and/or client-facing project experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead detailed design efforts for low- to medium-voltage power systems in industrial or plant settings.
- Perform engineering calculations and power system studies, including arc flash, short circuit, and coordination studies.
- Work with designers to produce high-quality drawing packages.
- Design around existing systems, site constraints, and operational needs at industrial facilities.
- Collaborate with civil/structural, protection and controls, and automation teams.
- Engage with clients through site visits and project discussions.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support project execution through field investigations, design reviews, and client meetings.
