Requirements
- Have at least three years of project management experience.
- Have at least three years of relevant experience responding to government Requests for Proposals (RFP).
- A bachelor’s degree in a business or engineering discipline is preferred.
- Be able to develop comprehensive technical plans, procedures, and work instructions.
- Have experience pricing and forecasting complex projects.
- Have strong writing skills for technical and management approaches.
- Be detail-oriented and able to multitask across multiple projects.
- Have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Be able to obtain and maintain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable under the company’s automobile insurance policy.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned government projects in accordance with contract and corporate requirements.
- Liaise with customers, executives, administrators, and operational employees to support contract performance.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and performance standards.
- Interpret client requirements and prepare project presentations, plans, procedures, and proposals with clients and subordinates.
- Manage development, production, and delivery standards and ensure project assignments are completed as directed.
- Coach and mentor employees in developing plans, presentations, and proposals.
- Acquire and oversee resources, define roles and responsibilities, and lead assigned operations.
- Enforce work standards, resolve discrepancies, and maintain contract compliance and project documentation.
- Develop the pipeline for future projects, capture new projects, and write technical proposals with pricing.
- Manage and communicate project risks and challenges and submit timely, accurate deliverables.
