- Typically 10-12 years of relevant experience, including 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry working with Medicaid agreements.
- Experience leading teams and managing client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
- Subject matter expertise in Medicaid rebates, including Medicaid rebate systems and setting best practices.
- Experience meeting mandated deadlines while managing multiple client assignments and competing priorities.
- Ability to learn and apply complex government compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical skills and technical ability to work with large data sets accurately.
- Ability to produce client-ready deliverables for executive audiences.
- Demonstrated experience using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, or Gemini to improve productivity, decision-making, or problem solving.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Travel 10-20%.
Responsibilities
- Set and lead department standard operating procedures and business processes, ensuring department compliance.
- Direct the review and approval of Medicaid rebate deliverables to meet government requirements and SLAs.
- Own the review and approval of customer contract setup and data management in Model N systems.
- Handle client escalations on processing status, reconciliations, data discrepancies, and payments.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Medicaid operations team through goals, feedback, and development plans.
- Validate claims-level detail and partner with states to resolve disputes and drive rebate savings.
- Partner with product teams on system enhancements, AI, and automation, and lead change management for new capabilities.
