Requirements
- Have 10+ years of professional experience in Oracle ERP.
- Have completed at least three end-to-end Oracle Fusion Cloud data conversion or migration projects.
- Bring strong functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials, particularly General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
- Have working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Procurement and Project Portfolio Management (PPM).
- Have hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Financials data structures and legacy financial data conversion.
- Have practical experience with FBDI and, where relevant, HDL templates, including data loading, troubleshooting, error resolution, and mock conversion cycles.
- Have experience managing financial data reconciliation, including subledger-to-general-ledger reconciliation and balance validation.
- Have experience working with systems integrators on large-scale Oracle Cloud implementations and transformation programs.
- Have strong SQL skills for data extraction, analysis, validation, and reconciliation.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a relevant discipline, or have equivalent professional experience.
- Be able to work in a senior, client-facing capacity and coordinate with distributed and offshore teams.
- Preferred: experience with ORMB or EDMCS, financial services environments, Oracle Fusion Time and Labor, contingent worker data, AI/RPA or automated data conversion platforms, or Oracle Cloud Financials/Implementation certification.
Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end data conversion architecture, migration scope, dependencies, object sequencing, conversion plans, and mock cycle schedules across multiple releases.
- Map PeopleSoft and other legacy financial systems to Oracle Fusion Cloud, including chart of accounts crosswalks, enterprise data management hierarchies, value mappings, and transformation rules.
- Review and validate AI-generated mappings before implementation.
- Define business transformation rules, validation criteria, and data quality standards, including treatment of open items, in-flight transactions, and interim-state data.
- Own FBDI and applicable HDL templates, coordinate load sequencing and error resolution, and lead end-to-end mock conversion cycles.
- Establish reconciliation controls for record counts, financial balances, aging, and subledger-to-general-ledger consistency.
- Drive reconciliation, business validation, and formal sign-off for each migration release, including Fixed Assets and Projects.
- Lead client mapping reviews, exception resolution, decision-making sessions, and business sign-offs with finance stakeholders and systems integration teams.
- Identify and communicate risks, scope changes, delivery challenges, and dependencies affecting migration timelines or quality.
- Guide offshore Oracle data conversion consultants and engineering teams, and quality-check AI-generated transformation logic and migration files before client delivery.
