Job Details

Have 12+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience as a hands-on architect on complex, multi-system initiatives.
Demonstrate a record of taking initiatives from concept to production and personally building foundational implementations for other engineers to extend.
Bring strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, APIs, microservices, integrations, and scalable architecture.
Have experience architecting and shipping production mobile applications alongside web and backend systems.
Have experience writing detailed technical specifications and driving spec-first development across internal and offshore teams.
Have experience owning or heavily shaping a technology roadmap across multiple products or initiatives.
Have hands-on experience building and shipping production AI or LLM-powered product features, such as agentic workflows, RAG systems, copilots, or content generation pipelines.
Have practical experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot in engineering work.
Apply DevOps and CI/CD practices and account for security, compliance, and data protection, including HIPAA obligations.
Microsoft Azure experience is preferred.
Healthcare, health-tech, SaaS, eCommerce, or consumer platform experience is preferred.

Own solution design for company initiatives from business intent through product and system architecture, integration design, and buildable specifications.
Build reference implementations, scaffolding, and high-risk vertical slices to validate architectural designs before handing work to development teams.
Produce granular, development-ready specifications for developers and AI coding agents.
Own product architecture, including how capabilities compose into products, member journeys, and revenue lines.
Maintain the technology roadmap, align it with company strategy, and make initiative sequencing, dependencies, and tradeoffs visible to leadership.
Design integrations across commercial SaaS platforms, owned services, laboratory and clinical partners, and data systems.
Set architectural direction for mobile, web, and cloud platforms.
Design and ship AI product features, including model API integration, agent orchestration, retrieval augmented generation, and structured tool use.
