Requirements
- Have 2–3 years of experience as a Localization Project Manager or in a similar role.
- Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Have proven experience in the translation and localization industry.
- Understand localization workflows.
- Understand MTPE processes.
- Understand QA/QC practices.
- Be familiar with CAT tools and TMS platforms.
- Be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Have excellent English communication skills, written and spoken.
- Be based in Egypt with a reliable internet connection and remote-work setup.
- Be comfortable working full-time in the US time zone.
- For male candidates, have completed military service or have an official exemption, if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Manage translation and localization projects from intake to delivery, tracking schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Onboard, evaluate, and coordinate freelance linguists and translation agencies.
- Negotiate rates and manage purchase orders.
- Monitor vendor performance against SLAs.
- Implement QA checks and post-editing guidelines to ensure linguistic and functional quality.
- Coordinate linguistic reviews, in-country testing, and bug tracking with product and QA teams.
