Requirements
- Have a Matric Certificate.
- Hold a 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate.
- Have a bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Have teaching experience, particularly in an online setting (beneficial).
- Have strong spoken and written English with a neutral accent.
- Be comfortable using Zoom and standard digital tools.
- Be confident managing a virtual classroom environment.
- Have a laptop or PC with Intel Core i5 or higher and 8GB RAM.
- Have stable fibre internet with a minimum 25 Mbps download/upload speed and a LAN cable connection.
- Have a UPS providing 4–5 hours of backup power and a separate mini-UPS for the fibre router.
- Have a noise-cancelling headset, HD webcam, and quiet, professional workspace.
Responsibilities
- Review lesson material ahead of scheduled sessions.
- Deliver structured, engaging online classes aligned to the curriculum.
- Maintain a focused and professional virtual classroom environment.
- Support learners from a range of backgrounds and proficiency levels.
- Provide feedback that helps guide measurable improvement.
