Requirements

  • Have a completed matric certificate; a degree is a plus.
  • Hold a 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate.
  • Have excellent spoken and written English with a neutral accent.
  • Be confident using Zoom and digital tools.
  • Have a laptop or PC with a Quad Core i5, Ryzen 5, or Apple M1 or higher processor and at least 8 GB RAM.
  • Have fibre internet with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps and use a LAN cable.
  • Have UPS backup for 4–5 hours and a mini-UPS for the router.
  • Have a noise-cancelling headset, HD webcam, and quiet workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver lively, interactive lessons using provided materials.
  • Build conversations around learning topics using a communicative approach.
  • Engage students from South America in online sessions.
  • Use classroom tools to create a positive learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
