Requirements

  • Have very good German skills at B2 level or higher, in speaking and writing.
  • Have experience teaching German at B1 level or above.
  • Have a teaching diploma, or at least a B2 language diploma and initial teaching experience.
  • Have experience with exam preparation and tutoring; this is preferred.
  • Be available for a teaching assignment for at least three consecutive months.
  • For online teaching, work as a freelancer and be able to issue invoices.
  • Have a sufficient internet connection, a modern laptop or PC, and a quiet home-office teaching environment.
  • Be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

  • Plan German language lessons.
  • Design and deliver the course curriculum and lessons.
  • Maintain daily attendance lists.
  • Report on students’ learning status.
  • Prepare students for examinations.
  • Complete occasional cross-country testing tasks.
