Requirements
- Hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Engineering Drafting, or a related field.
- Have at least 2 years of experience in a drafting or engineering role.
- Bring advanced skills developing structural steel and concrete models in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and Revit.
- Have practical experience using Navisworks for viewing, clash detection, and model federation.
- Demonstrate excellent technical writing skills for tender documents and engineering reports.
- Have excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Have advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- Be able to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems.
- Experience with Australian WA mining standards or Non-Process Infrastructure is a plus.
- Experience with modular and scalable infrastructure design is a plus.
- Experience creating P&IDs and PFDs in AutoCAD 2D is an advantage.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D structural steel and concrete models for NPI facilities using Revit.
- Translate structural engineers’ hand drawings, Bluebeam markups, and design notes into 3D models and 2D construction drawings.
- Import vendor files and federate 3D models in Navisworks.
- Perform clash detection and isolate structural or equipment packages in Navisworks.
- Check and review models and drawings against company standards, client specifications, and Australian Standards.
- Interpret, draft, and edit 2D PFDs and P&IDs using AutoCAD.
- Produce layout drawings and site masterplans for NPI.
- Draft, edit, and format engineering documents and reports in Microsoft Word.
- Maintain records in the document-control system and handle administration and document formatting in Word and Excel.
