Requirements
- Practical knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
- Experience managing a backlog and defining acceptance criteria.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence or similar tools.
- Experience in projects building or developing data warehouses, reporting solutions, or data integrations.
- Knowledge of data modeling and integration, including business, logical, and physical models.
- Ability to define data attributes, mappings between systems, and transformation rules.
- Understanding of data solution architecture, including Data Warehouse, Data Lake, data layers, data ingestion and transformation processes, and Data Quality.
- Experience leading workshops and decision meetings and aligning differing stakeholder positions across organizational levels.
- Practical GCP, BigQuery, and medallion architecture experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of Data Governance is a plus.
- Knowledge of SQL and/or Python is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead workshops and decision meetings with business and technical stakeholders, moderating discussions when viewpoints differ.
- Gather, organize, and align business requirements, translating them into precise data and data-processing requirements.
- Model business, logical, and physical data.
- Define data attributes, mappings between systems, and transformation rules.
- Coordinate collaborating parties, resolve disputes, and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Manage the backlog, break down scope into tasks, and track deadlines, dependencies, and completion criteria.
- Ensure data quality and model consistency during data warehouse development and enhancement.
