Requirements
- Experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, System Analyst, Data Steward, R&D IT Analyst, or in a similar role.
- Understanding of data modeling and relationships between data.
- Ability to use SQL to analyze data across multiple tables and perform JOINs.
- Experience gathering and refining requirements.
- Ability to create User Stories and break business requirements into tasks for technical teams.
- Ability to communicate with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and lead workshops.
- Experience in pharma or life sciences is preferred.
- Knowledge of R&D, Regulatory Affairs, or product registration processes is preferred.
- Enovia PLM, Veeva RIM, Veeva PASS, Databricks, Power BI, data governance or data quality, ontologies, controlled vocabularies, or regulated-environment experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, Data Engineering, and IT teams on digitalization projects.
- Understand business processes and translate them into data and system requirements.
- Analyze data from systems used in R&D.
- Build and develop data models and semantic models for key R&D areas.
- Analyze data structures, including tables, relationships, and how data is joined.
- Use SQL to analyze and validate data.
- Prepare and update User Stories, Technical Tasks, and project documentation.
- Work with architects and developers to define implementations for new functionality.
- Analyze the impact of changes on existing solutions and data.
- Support data quality issue identification and resolution, and data governance and stewardship processes.
