Requirements
- Bring strong backend engineering experience.
- Have exposure to large-scale web application architecture and real production constraints.
- Transfer quickly to new technologies and work comfortably with similar technologies.
- Write tests and set up monitoring.
- Handle incidents methodically and perform root cause analysis.
- Track impact after release, flag regressions, and improve owned areas proactively.
- Work comfortably in squad teams with Product Managers, Designers, and engineers across other stacks.
- Be fluent in English.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain services that handle financial transactions.
- Own service reliability in production.
- Co-own service architecture, resilience, and scalability using Domain-Driven Design principles.
- Lead design discussions, anticipate risks, and mentor less experienced engineers.
- Improve engineering processes by fixing flaky CI, running post-mortems, and sharing learnings.
- Contribute to discovery and make technical decisions.
- Monitor production performance and raise quality standards.
