Requirements
- Have 1–3+ years of relevant technical experience in Technical Operations, Systems Analysis, Data QA, Software QA, or Workflow Automation.
- Have direct responsibility for building, troubleshooting, and maintaining data-driven processes.
- Write advanced SQL, including CTEs and window functions, and understand query optimization.
- Have foundational familiarity with Python or scripting for data manipulation.
- Have practical experience with workflow engines, API integrations, or orchestration platforms.
- Be familiar with tools such as n8n, Workato, Make, or Retool, or equivalent native workflow tools.
- Apply QA practices including edge-case handling, monitoring, rollback plans, and consideration of system dependencies.
- Use LLM tools to parse unstructured error strings, structure disparate datasets, and validate logic.
- Engage with software engineers on architecture and explain operational impacts to business partners.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain automated operational workflows using orchestration platforms and custom scripting.
- Define test cases and validate release readiness for operational systems.
- Monitor regression risks and systematically deprecate or refactor legacy workflows.
- Use SQL and Python to investigate raw logs and database tables for failure patterns and edge cases.
- Execute root-cause fixes on failed transactions.
- Use LLM tools for structured data parsing, regex generation, error-log classification, and operational investigations.
- Partner with engineering and operational stakeholders to translate process requirements into scalable technical implementations.
- Use data-backed technical arguments to challenge existing processes.
