Job Details

Have 5+ years of professional QA engineering experience, including ownership of complex work end-to-end.
Have hands-on experience executing test cases and documenting defects.
Have experience with test automation, API testing, and CI/CD integration.
Have experience building test frameworks from the ground up.
Use Python for test automation.
Have hands-on experience building UI/end-to-end automation with Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
Understand QA methodologies and quality metrics.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting status and risk to stakeholders.
Be able to own QA independently while collaborating closely with developers and speaking up on quality.
Preferred: experience testing in a HIPAA/HITRUST-regulated healthcare environment.
Preferred: performance and security testing experience.
Nice to have: Twilio, telephony/VoIP, or call center software experience, especially automating real call flows.
Nice to have: Jira and Zephyr.
Nice to have: AWS, Kubernetes, or Argo CD exposure; performance testing with Locust or another tool.

Execute manual test cases and document defects clearly.
Write automation scripts and apply API testing tools.
Integrate tests into CI/CD and build test frameworks.
Conduct performance testing and implement security testing.
Design test architectures and author test strategy documents.
Write test plans, manage test coverage, and maintain QA environment integrity.
Coordinate release readiness and own QA for full features.
Ensure HIPAA test coverage, define quality metrics, and improve QA processes.
Collaborate with developers and product teams across squads.
Communicate test results, defect status, and quality metrics; mentor junior QA engineers.
